A most enjoyable final walk through Venice, with gelati of wonderment in Campo di San Margherita while people & place watching. The Dorsoduro is our current favourite district, having walked & wandered most of Venice. We left the hotel at 14.00, the grumpiness & surroundings of Venice airport in marked distinction to Venice itself. A late arrival, departure & arrival in Gatwick, home just after 23.00.
